It’s with sadness that I inform everyone of the passing of Mrs Lena Durney. Lena was a long serving volunteer and board member of WALK until the late 1990’s. Her association with WALK spanned 3 decades along with her husband Dave (rip) playing a critical role in the running of the “Club” and the establishment of our first residential house.
Lena passed away on Monday in her 91st year.
We would like to extend our sincere condolences to Lena’s family and particularly her daughter Deirdre who was a loyal employee of WALK for a number of years.
